Hailing from the western side of the Te Muna range, the grapes for this wine enjoy exposure to the afternoon sun in Martinborough, making this one of the warmer blocks in Martinborough. The well-draining soils consist of silt loam and varying levels of clay. The resulting wine has a riper, more tropical fruit profile.
